Cirilla Gwathren
Cirilla Gwathren (a.k.a. The Widow)
The Gwathren family is one of the most influential families among the elves. Many years before the current generation, the matriarch was Cirilla. She reigned as a dread lord of the Shadowfell for many years known only by the name, "The Widow."
During the Shadowfell Incursion lead by Gruumsh, she kidnapped Bear Hill leader Dautlin Wolfswift in an effort to obtain the location of the main campsite. The elite taskforce that would later come to be known as Team Deicide infiltrated Cirilla's keep while she and King Stormbreaker interrogated Wolfswift. After Stormbreaker left, Team Deicide confronted Cirilla and asked her to release Dautlin. Rather than a large conflict ensuing, in a rare moment of mercy, the taskforce used diplomacy to bring Cirilla over to their side, promising her the Duchy of Southhost in exchange (as well as introducing her to Grand Twinkle).
Since the events of the war, Cirilla has ruled over Southhost with Grand Twinkle as her husband and Helena Porter as her adopted daughter.
