Consortium
The Tryvyum Trade Consortium is the alliance between the Eternal Library of Cogys, the Braided Tribes of Morydal, and the Fountain of Purity of Ohedyn. Its capital and only shared city is Amyhra on the island of Okanu in the middle of the Tryvyum Sea.
Culture
The Consortium is a mix of many different cultures. Primarily, each of the three member nations contribute their cultures, but others not formally a part of these nations have joined the Consortium, bringing with them their own cultures. This has resulted in many cultures adapting and evolving, merging and splitting into countless subcultures.
Public Agenda
The goal of the Consortium is to allow each of its members to thrive beyond what any of them are capable of individually. The World of Aroka, especially so early into the start of the Age of Reclamation, is filled with dangers and hazards that have prevented most communities from surviving their first Dark Days, if they survive that long at all. The most successful communities have been those that have embraced the wilderness, such as the Feral Tribes, that are know for their barbarism and brutality to any and all outside of the tribe. The Consortium seeks to allow those that refuse to yield to their Feral nature to come together and build a civilized society that can rise above the natural hazards of the world and take the world out of the Age of Reclamation into an Age of Prosperity.
Assets
The Consortium combines the primary exports of the three member nations to create a thriving economy. They take the knowledge and technology from Cogys, the gems and metals from Morydal, and the abundant crops and wood from Ohedyn to allow each of them to thrive in excess of what they could on their own.
History
The Consortium began to take shape when the Eternal Library of Cogys developed the first Seafarers and set out to the south to explore the Tryvyum Sea in the 280th year of the Age of Reclamation. They quickly encountered the tribes of northern Duva that would become the Braided Tribes of Morydal. They continued their exploration, discovering the island of Okanu in the middle of the Tryvyum Sea and the Fountain of Purity of Ohedyn on the southeastern edge of Sonata.
In the 284th year of the Age of Reclamation, after Ohedyn had already developed their own method of sea travel with Waveroots, Cogys began selling their outdated models of Seafarers to Morydal, allowing all three nations to freely participate in trade, using the central island of Okanu as a hub. The fierce storms of the Tryvyum Sea made Okanu a critical part of trade as it allowed vessels to shelter there from the storms. However, the fierce wildlife and the savage Feral Tribes made Okanu a dangerous waypoint between the three nations. To correct this, the three nations came together to carve out pockets of civilization on the island.
In the 287th year of the Age of Reclamation, the Tryvyum Trade Consortium was officially founded with the securing of four locations on Okanu that would grown into the settlements of Berak, Okar, Sard, and, the Consortium's future capital, Amyhra. Over the next 250 years, the Consortium grew, establishing more settlements across the island and gaining more dominance of the region.
Demography and Population
Territories
Military
While each of the nations have their own militaries, the Consortium's official military is the Coalition, primarily focused on protecting free trade throughout the Tryvyum Sea and defending the settlements on Okanu against the wildlife and Feral Tribes.
Technological Level
Cogys maintains its control of most of the science and technology, sharing its wealth of knowledge with its partner nations only after it has become outdated. The only exception is the widely used Coil that powers many devices throughout the Consortium.
Religion
While the Consortium itself holds a secular stance as to not cater to any one belief system, faith, or religion, everyone is free to practice their own version of spirituality or lack thereof as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others to do the same. Religions such as the Three Flames from Morydal and Children of Areta from Ohedyn as well as the Walk of Fate are the majority religions. Additionally, the Eternal Library from Cogys, though not technically a religion, essentially functions as one and is considered to be more influential on the Consortium as it has access to Cogys' knowledge and technology.
Foreign Relations
There are no other nations aside from the three that are a part of the Consortium. The nearest formal nation is Fractyr, 5,000km to the north and on the other side of the Shattered Sea, the Gauntlet, and the Ruined Sea.
Laws
The laws of the Consortium are constantly evolving in an attempt to ensure that each culture is respected while still ensuring equal and fair treatment of all regardless of culture or nationality.
Agriculture & Industry
Some farming and hunting occurs on Okanu, but the majority of the food originates in Ohedyn and is distributed throughout the Consortium.
Trade & Transport
Seafarers or similar vessels, such as Waveroots, are the only reliable means of traversing the Tryvyum Sea and such a venture is not without risk. The savage storms of the region pose a threat to all but the most advanced Seafarers, requiring careful planning for all trade vessels in the region.
Education
Prior to the destruction of the Arcane Laboratory, knowledge of all sorts, including Magic, was readily shared with all the would learn. The Eternal Library did oversee this exchange of ideas, offering rare glimpses into the secrets they had uncovered back in Cogys. However, after the incident and the subsequent banning of magical practice on Okanu and any other shared territory within the Consortium, the Eternal Library took full control of the education institutions in Amyhra, strictly monitoring its studies to ensure the safety of the Consortium and its interests.
Infrastructure
While much of the infrastructure on Okanu is consistent with the architecture and methods of the culture dominating their respective territories, there are instances where the ingenuity of all three nations are combined to accomplish great feats. The most prominent of these are the Floatdocks that effortless adapt to the change in tides and the Rushfall Facility that powers the cranes and elevators that lift goods from the Floatdocks to Amyhra on the cliff above.

Each of the nations have their individual currencies, each of which is accepted in various areas throughout the Consortium. To correct this, a standardized Tryvyum Currency backed by Shard was created. This consists of the Scale, Claw, and Fang, each of which is worth 10 times the value of the former.
While the majority of the trade in Amyhra is imports from the three nations, there is some trade between that nations, utilizing Okanu as a waypoint to make the journey across the Tryvyum Sea safer. There was a rather significant export of Shard after it was discovered in the western mountains of Okanu and before all mining operations were suspended after the Cliff-Fall.
In order to keep Amyrha running and continue the expansion of the Consortium's control of Okanu and its resources, large quanties of metals and gems are brought in from Morydal and an abundance of foods and spices are brought in from Ohedyn. Occasional shipments of scientific advancements and technology arrive from Cogys, but these are often limited to members of the Cogys military or the Eternal Library.
The Consulate is both the body that establishes and enforces the law of the Consortium as well as the the amphitheater in Amyhra in which political discourse occurs. It consists of representatives from all three nations as well as independent that represent small groups that have joined the Consortium. While some decisions are made behind closed doors, the majority of debate takes place in the amphitheater open to the public, ensuring that the will of the people is not overlooked by the legislative body.
Law enforcement, judicial, and penal duties are carried out by the Consort. This organization is primarily staffed by volunteers that undergo just enough training to apprehend and detain lawbreakers. On occasion, they will take part in the defense of Amyhra in support of the Coalition, but their training is hardly sufficient to conduct operations in the dense jungles of Okanu.
The Consort and its infrastructure is located in the southwest corner of Amyhra, highlighted by the Lawspire that sits atop the cliff edge overlooking Yova Bay. This structure also serves and the judgement halls and prison cells for those deemed fit for rehabilitation.
Individuals that are identified as repeat offenders a branded on their hands and forearms with symbols correlating to their crimes. While the initial intent of these Brands was to warn others about an individual's criminal tendencies at glance, but those with career or chronic criminality began accumulating them as badges of honor, covering their arms and even torsos as many Brands as they can without earning prolonged in the Lawspire, banishment from the Consortium, or execution. The issue became prevalent enough more complex Brands were developed to help differentiate between official Lawspire Brands and counterfeit ones.
