Imp
(a.k.a. Imp)
Imp is a player character. As such, his page will be filled out as players become more aware of who he is.
Imp is among the most bizare of companions. He is a hellish creature standing only a couple feet tall, sporting bat-like wings and a strange form of infernal musical device. Imp was sold to Tonn Beornegarson by a drunkard in Isjarn for a pint of ale. Tonn released him from the bird cage he was trapped in, only for Imp to learn Tonn's name, and, dejectedly, deliever a message to him.
Imp was once the familiar of a great and powerful wizard named Ösmágus Seluvis Laszlo. Being an incredibly prideful man, on his deathbead, Ösmágus bound Imp one last time with a command to seek out his closest living relative, naming a man called Tonn Beornegarson, and teach him all that the wizard knew, making Tonn worthy of carrying on Ösmágus's legacy.
Upon meeting Tonn and realizing this man was the furthest thing from a powerful wizard, Imp realized he had his work cut out for him. He committed himself into the service of Tonn until he could fulfill his late master's last command, granting Tonn a meager inheritance, and setting out on their adventures together.
Imp has proven to be a valuable support member of the party, always bolstering his allies with song. He's started to become something of a natural songwriter and has begun to become elated with the idea of being an adventurer himself.
Imp has shown himself terrified of creatures larger than himself (which is nearly everything), though he's shown remarkable bravery at times as well, especially when a party member is in grave danger. In a brief moment of absolute panic while being crushed by the river drake, the party was privy to what may be Imp's absolute greatest fear - being enslaved once again by his former (late) master.
An interesting dynamic has begun between Tonn and Imp, where Imp was given instructions to teach Tonn magic, but Tonn has begun to teach Imp bravery and the ways of a warrior.
While sailing along the Helgafel River, Imp randomly found his wings repaired and ability to fly restored, though this was not the result of devilish magic, but seemingly of The Giver of Joy.
