Great Monastery of the Four Winds
The monastery of the Fourth Wind lies at the top of the mountain.
Meditation and practice in extreme conditions in order to surpass nature.
The monastery of the Third Wind lies at the foot of the mountain, and is also the entranceway to the rest of the monasteries.
The monastery of the Second Wind is built among the trees, deeper into the jungle. On high stilts, it blends into the environment. Dangerous creatures and plants lurk all around. The lands around the Second Monastery are where the Trial takes place.
The monastery of the First Wind stands defiantly atop a lower peak, the remains of a volcano. It is only accessible via a rope bridge halfway up the main mountain.
The Winds are masters of their arts, each training students destined to surpass them and achieve godhood.
Unlike their students, the Winds are not immortal; their positions are inherited by those they deem fit and worthy.
