The Father (a.k.a. the Man from the River, The Wellspring, the Riverfather)

Divine Domains

The Rivers, Fishing , Agriculture, Hard work

As it behooves a country whose fertility is so closely linked to its numerous rivers, Aquira connects the agricultural and providing aspects of the Father with them. Befitting his nature as a river deity, fishing is an as The Aspect of the hunt, which Raodin in Caldaven covers makes up a minor part of it's responibilties, at least in the fertile West of the country where most of the supplies are harvest by farmers. The Aquirans have adapted the green Man as a minor servant of Rodin to cover it. As a god of hard work and dliligence, Rodin likes to see that the diligent and dutiful earn the fruits of their labor. While most natural phenomenons belong to Alba the Mother, the rivers are a particular responsibility of Rodin. Farmers, Fishermen and all those who value hard work follow Rodin for this aspect.

Law and Order, Balance and Society

As god of law and order, and as leader of the Pantheon of Seven, the words of Rodin are law. Corruption is a sin upon Rodin, as it rewards the unworthy and harms the dililigent. In judgement Rodin is a god of balance, who balances both empathy and order, which are both considered human aspects that establish order against the merciless and chaotic Nature represented by Rodin's wife Alba, the Mother.   Due to Rodin's stronger emphasis on balance and compassion compared to the Fatherdeities Raodin of Caldaven and Rao in the Emerald Coast, he is followed and revered more often by judges and diplomats rather than knights, guards or those who seek vengeance.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Symbols of the Faith are the scale, which represents the balance of Rodin's judgement, but also fish and grain. Sometimes all symbols are combined by depicting a scale with a fish on one side and a heap of grain on the other.

Physical Description

Body Features

Raodin is depicted as a bearded man with white hair, usually clad in clothes made of leaves and vines. Vines rank around his limbs and torsos. In most depictions of Rodin, his lower half is not visible, hidden by the waterline of one of Aquira's many rivers. Some depictions thus give him a fishtail, but usually he is considered to look human from head to toe.
