Krosos, Hero of Minos

King Krosos Thaven

Physical Description

Special abilities

Krosos was exceptionally strong, even for a minotaur, and although he didn't physically tower over the rest of his people, his presence supposedly had a way of filling a room.

Specialized Equipment

Krosos is often depicted as a large, muscular minotaur, brandishing a double-bladed war axe and a bronze shield, and wearing a footed O necklace.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Krosos was born towards the end of the Dawn War in a minotaur war camp under the command of Baphomet. Fortunately for Krosos, the War ended before he was forced into service- but not before it left both of his parents dead. Krosos was cast adrift in the ruins of Archaeon, and was forced to rely on his limited training and wits in order to survive during the early years of the Departure. Eventually, he felt compelled to go to Minos, where Baphomet had continued to rule over the minotaurs in spite of the agreement among the gods that they must leave the mortal plane. There, he began to challenge Baphomet's rule, and would have been executed had it not been for the timely arrival of the goddess Erathis. Krosos and Erathis worked together in order to defeat Baphomet, and were able to imprison him within his own palace in the Endless Maze. After Baphomet was sealed, Erathis departed Minos, but not without inspiring Krosos to lead his people into a new age.
