Diane Siladrin

Diane was born to Elarnil Siladrin and Yara Khalil and the first and until today the only Half-Elf native to Südland.
  She inherited her mothers dark hair and tanned skin, but her fathers eyes, freckles and ears.
 

History

  After her mother died, she decided to leave Südland and travel the Holy Empire of Middland in search of work as a tutor.
  She found permanent employment at the court of Jean Lestrade, where she first tutored several of her courtiers and their children before being assigned as the primary tutor of the counts nephew who is supposed to become a skilled diplomat in the future.
  Her position enabled her unrestricted access to the library, through which she went through systematically. One book after another, learning about the history of the house Lestrade and their fiefdoms. When Giuseppe Cane arrived at Labelle one day, asking about the lord about family members serving as petty officers in the imperial army. Since Cane was sent by the renowned The Wardens Of Tempest who were attacked recently, Jean Lestrade tasked her to assist him in his search through the family annals.
  They spent a lot of time with each other and became close. When two assassins attacked them in the library one night and severely wounded Giuseppe Cane who managed to kill both attackers, he explained to her that he was a former member of the I Corvi who attacked the villages of Flussstien and Nordmannslandung in order to lure out a warden named Raymund de Sade who allegedly killed a noble guard back when the founding members of the order migrated from Nordland. He told her that he betrayed the assassins guild and became a warden and is now searching for the employer who contracted the I Corvi.
  Diane then helped the wounded Giuseppe Cane to flee the city and hide in a village east of Labelle. She, however, didn't want to leave his side and stayed with him and treat his wounds. Occasionally getting books from the library delivered by courtiers who where willing to risk their lives for a few gold pieces. Together they are trying to find out, who this contractor is, to find out how he contracted the assassins and how they found out that Cane was still alive and searching for them.
