Anya Lefaux

Anya has a beautiful face, with sharp and strong features and a porcelain complexion. She has light blue eyes that are focused and intense, framed by long white hair that is braided on the left side. Her lips are thin and pale, and her nose is sharp and upturned. She has high cheekbones and a sharp chin, giving her face a regal yet intense appearance.

Anya dresses in a dignified manner as part of her disguise as a noble girl. She She primarily wears a sky blue blouse with a black bowtie, a black skirt with sky blue tights, and a short black shawl lined with lace. Like, Astrid, as a transfer student at the Capitol Academy, Anya is required to wear a school uniform, and her outfit functions as such. Students are allowed to choose clothing of any color, so long as they are supplied by the school's official provider; Anyas's sky blue blouse and tights are as such a personal choice and reflective of her cover personality. Her short lacey black shawl is a reflection of her cover identity's nobility, and she thinks its pretty.   Anya wears a hand chain made of astridium metal, with a sky blue teardrop-shaped magic gemstone in the center. The hand chain is a delicate piece of jewelry that wraps around Anya's wrist and fingers, with the gemstone resting in the center of back of her hand.   Her broach is a silver and black piece of jewelry in the shape of a fleury cross. It is primarily silver, with smooth black astridium metal set within its engravings. The broach is worn on the right side of her chest, attached to her shawl.

Anya has experienced a great deal of trauma in her young life. Growing up an orphan and prisoner to corrupt Church officials, she was forced to witness the atrocities committed by the Holy Church, and was personally victim to their cruel treatment. She was beaten, tortured, and sexually abused by the Church officials, leaving her with deep emotional and mental scars.   As a result, Anya struggles with trust and intimacy, and has difficulty forming close relationships with others. She is prone to outbursts of anger and violence, and struggles to control her emotions. She also suffers from nightmares and flashbacks, and has difficulty sleeping.   Despite her trauma, Anya is strong-willed and determined. She is fiercely loyal to those she cares about, and will do anything to protect them. She has a strong desire for revenge against the Holy Church, and will stop at nothing to bring them down.

  Astrid: Anya's love for Astrid is the driving force in her life. She is fiercely loyal and devoted to Astrid, and will do anything to protect her and make her happy. She first met Astrid when she was thirteen and had been injured while escaping from the Luciene region's corrupt Holy Church. Astrid took her in, cared for her, and introduced her to the Cult of the Dark Goddess. Anya has been in love with Astrid ever since, and is constantly trying to show her affection and devotion.   The Cult of the Dark Goddess: Anya is a loyal and devoted follower of the Cult of the Dark Goddess, and enjoys using her powers to aid in their operations and protect her fellow followers. She has a viceral hatred for the Holy Church and enjoys making it's believers suffer. She loves the sense of purpose and belonging that comes from being a part of the Cult, and is proud to serve the Dark Goddess.   Magic: Anya is a highly skilled mind mage, able to manipulate and control the thoughts and emotions of others. She is also an advanced elemental mage as well, as elemental magic is available by practically all humans and forms the fundamentals of magic. She finds great enjoyment and satisfaction in using her powers, and is constantly striving to improve her abilities.   Dark Spaces: Anya finds dark spaces to be comforting and soothing. They remind her of the hidden room in the Luciene mansion where she first bonded with Astrid, and the happiness and warmth she felt in Astrid's presence. She finds the darkness to be a welcome escape from the bright and chaotic world around her, and enjoys spending time in secluded, shadowy places.   Pastries: Anya has a fondness for pastries, particularly those made by Adelaide Luciene. She first tasted Adelaide's pastries when Astrid snuck them to her during their time together in the hidden room in the Luciene mansion. Anya found the pastries to be a welcome and comforting treat, reminding her of the happiness and warmth she felt in Astrid's presence. She finds the act of eating pastries to be soothing and relaxing, and often savors them slowly, savoring the flavors and textures.   Kittens: Anya finds kittens to be cute and cuddly, and enjoys their playful and energetic personalities. She often spends time playing with kittens and caring for them, finding their antics to be a welcome distraction from the stress of her daily life.   Arson: Anya enjoys the feeling of power and control that comes from setting fires and watching things burn. She finds the flames to be mesmerizing and soothing, and often uses arson as a way to cope with her anger and frustration. Part of this stems from the rush and joy she felt when burning down the Holy Church of the Luciene Region.   Tea: Anya enjoys the ritual of preparing and drinking tea, and finds the calming effects of the warm drink to be soothing and relaxing. She often spends time alone in her room, brewing tea and enjoying the quiet solitude.

DISLIKES

  The Holy Church: Anya has an intense hatred for the Holy Church, stemming from her experiences as a prisoner and victim of their corruption and cruelty. She was forced to witness the atrocities committed by the Church officials, and was personally subjected to their torture and abuse. She is determined to seek revenge against the Church, and will stop at nothing to bring them down.   Capitol Academy students: Anya is disguised as a wealthy and popular student at the Capitol Academy in order to infiltrate noble high society and draw attention away from Astrid. However, she finds the other students to be arrogant and shallow, and has little patience for their petty drama and entitlement. She often feels out of place and uncomfortable in their presence, and would much rather be with the other members of the Cult of the Dark Goddess. Yet, in order to perform the duties of her mission, she must pretend to like other students and even emulate them.   Rudeness toward Astrid: Anya is extremely protective of Astrid, and will not tolerate anyone treating her poorly. She has a quick temper and can be violent when provoked, particularly if someone is rude or disrespectful to Astrid. She will not hesitate to use her mind control powers to make them regret their actions. This is particularly interesting when she herself has to pretend to be friends with those who insult Astrid, as part of her undercover persona.   Holy magic: Anya hates holy magic and the feeling of being affected by it. She finds the light magic that the Holy Church uses to be traumatically familliar, and has no respect for those who use it. The only people she is fond of that can use holy magic are other members of the Cult of the Dark Goddess (such as Gwynevere and Isaiah), but even then feels discomfort being healed or enhanced by their magic.   Birds: Anya has a fear of birds. She's not entirely sure why she dislikes birds, but they instill her with a deep discomfort and drive her crazy and hysterical. She will go to great lengths to stay very far away from the presence of birds.
