Velkzarath, the City of the Spider Queen
A Drow city-state in the Underdark. Velkzarath is a tradional Drow city, run by a matriarchal family system. Each family is ranked according to a heirarchy system and the Top families rule the city-state. The city is located in the Middledark, deep below the Trodian Desert.
There are many temples and statues dedicated to the Spider Queen here and the Drow who live here are fanatical in their worship of goddess of spiders.
