Igni's Rest

Igni's rest was guarded by an outfit of Duergar that Igni befriended on her travels   There were wooden walls constructed that surrounded the Rest.

Igni's Shack This central structure was the heart of Igni’s Rest. Plain and modest, the shack had a small common area where travelers could gather, eat, and rest. The crossed spoon-and-fork sign on the shack’s front signaled the availability of basic meals—simple but hearty stews, dark bread, and dried mushrooms, often accompanied by a hot, spiced tea brewed from local flora. The shack had limited rooms so many would setup their own tents among the merchant tents.   The Stables These stables housed large monitor lizards that served as mounts for those traversing the Underdark. These lizards, known as "Gloamscales," were hardy and surefooted, ideal for navigating rough terrain and capable of carrying heavy loads. The stable master, was a stern but fair deep gnome named Zilda, how was always on hand to offer rentals, saddle repairs, and advice on handling these creatures.   Merchant Tents Several semi-permanent tents surrounded Igni's shack, home to merchants from both the Underdark and surface realms.

Igni's rest was founded in the year 940 by the Shadar-Kai Igni after she retired from adventuring. Several of the key figures of the Rest were members of Igni's band of adventures that now help to keep the rest running day-to-day.

Travelers that frequented the rest were those who were seeking passage between the under city of Nephirion and the surface world or merchants looking to sell to those travelers.
