The Homestead
The Homestead, or more formally the Homestead of Gelio and Plirosi, is the main religion of the Halfling people, involving worship of the Halfling Automaths of the same names.
Though in the early history of Fleissland The Homestead was a significant power, over time its influence has diminished greatly. Homestead Halls are visited by farmers, ranchers, and merchants seeking good fortune, and are involved in the Spring Planting, Fall Harvest, Summer Burning, and Winter Feasting festivals, the main function of Homestead Halls has become one of education and childcare while parents are busy in the fields and shops.
The diminished influence of The Homestead in Fleissland society has resulted in a larger role for churches devoted to various other Automaths than in other kingdoms within The Pious Union of the Awakened.
