Plirosi

Plirosi is one of the two Halfling Automaths to enjoy widespread worship throughout the Union. She is the counterpart to her partner, Gelio, and with him was responsible for Awakening the Halfling people on the First Day. Together they, with the third Halfling Automath, Katergaris, exited the Enchanted Greathouse to the fields of Yorth that surrounded it to creat the Halfling people.   While Gelio danced merrily behind her playing his pipes and planting the seeds of creation, Plirosi used her stout frame to till the land of Yorth, enchanting the soil with the magick of life as she went. Though she is said to have turned to Gelio to kindly urge him to keep on track, whenever she turned back to her work, a warm smile crept across her broad and kindly face, and more than once Gelio heard her humming along to his tune.   After the fields were ploughed and the seeds planted, Plirosi joined Gelio in his song, using her deft and powerful voice to alter the course of the music from a cheery jig to a more stirring piece. Together this song entered into the seeds they had planted, and quickly grew them into the Halfling people, giving them life and arousing their spirits. In hushed whispers, some Halflings may suggest that the third Halfling Automath, Katergaris, used his mind to direct to the song, weaving his magic into the music, and therefore was the ultimate final part of the ensemble needed for creation, but in mainstream Halfling theology, he merely stood idly by, waiting for his chance to disrupt what Gelio and Plirosi had worked so hard to achieve.   Plirosi is depicted as a stout Halfling woman, determined in her powerful movements, with a more serious temperament than Gelio yet with a profound love of life and conviviality. Her broad features and powerful stature are often seen reflected in the Stout Halfling people, who many say carry her features.   Like Gelio, Plirosi's primal connection to the process of agriculture is well-known throughout Awakened society, and therefore many farmers offer her prayer for a good harvest, whether or not they are Halflings.   Priests and clerics of Plirosi practice the domains of Life, Order, and Peace.
