Soon after being elected to the Dwarven Throne of Nine Braids, King Wargoune of the Dezzrack nation declared a genocidal war of cleansing any non-Dwarf member of the local Sophic Species.

The Eight Dwarven Clans elect a unified leader of the Dwarven people of the Dezzrack Kingdom. Dezzrack was one of the few remaining nations that only passed rule national down among members of the same species. Elected by the leaders of the eight local Dwarven clans, Kazdeck Wargoune stepped up to the throne. He was chosen for his single-minded dedication to the Dwarven people of the Dezzrack Kingdom.
Dezzrack was a mountain kingdom with a massive Dwarf population. Dezzrack was built on the bones of Devvarreda, the first Dwarven nation. The nation had a massive 73% Dwarven population, and Kazdeck Wargoune had spent years dedicating funds and resources to his people. Kazdeck was the firstborn son of the Eight Braid noble family known as the Wargoune Trade Family.
Before Kazdeck took the throne, he had spent decades pushing propaganda that villainized non-Dwarves and framed the Dwarven people as victims of discrimination. When he took the throne, he started a publicized campaign that indirectly blamed the nation's problems on the non-Dwarven people living there. He hand-tailored the perspective of a large portion of the Dwarves of his nation.
It was on this day in history that King Kazdeck declared war against the non-Dwarves of the world. He claimed that all other species were inferior, and he used this to stir a frenzy within his followers. He spent years quietly collecting support and resources for a heinous act. All non-Dwarves were to be captured and executed for the crimes of conspiracy to cause unrest and destabilize the rule of the Noble Dwarven Houses.
When word of these actions reached the neighboring nations of Vayten and Kaldine, they readied armies and fortified defenses. Members of all Sophic Species, including Dwarves, cried out against King Kazdeck's actions.
At the decree of the genocidal war, most of the Elven people of both Dezzrack and nearby nations fled to the safety of the Evarra Queendom because of their meager population count. While many Elves pulled out of the threatened nations, many Elven casters volunteered to support the war effort in any way possible.
Because the Dezzrack forces were well-known for their elite heavy armor units, the opposing nations focused on attacks primarily dependent on hit-and-run tactics with fast units. This war brought much to the forefront of the public perspective. One key fact that could not be denied was that heavy armor units, which Dwarves were well known for, had the glaring weakness of low mobility. This weakness was matched in public perspective with the effectiveness of fast-striking Ceangar cavalry. While Humans played a large part in the war, their numbers were minimally effective against the heavily armored Dwarves.
Over the course of several years, the Dezzrack Dwarves were pushed back to the foot of their sacred mountains. The King Kazdeck was forced to step down or be executed by torture. When he renounced the throne, he was summarily beheaded, and his head was mounted to a pike and paraded through the streets. The next Nine Braid King was decided to be Zedrick Bronzetooth, a Dwarven noble merchant who had secretly been smuggling non-Dwarves from the toxic nation and providing information to the unified forces against Dezzrack.
