Angelica

Angelica is a beautiful young elven woman, with long raven black hair and piercing deep blue eyes. She has high cheekbones typical of her race and a proud, though slightly naive manner.

Angelica was born in the city of Orlun to two young elven parents. She was brought up in relative poverty, as both of her parents worked in a local tavern on the lakefront. She grew looking up to the great dome of the House of a Thousand Stars and her parents brought her up as a pious servant of Bahamut. Growing up in Orlun's lakefront wasn't easy and she was exposed to the hardships of life at an early age. She was different from the other children, kind and compassionate, and always a dreamer, wanting to become an adventurer like those in the tales told by the bards playing in the taverns. But she still never shied away from a fight and received many a bruise defending herself or those who needed her help.
After her father's death in a bar fight, her mother tried to raise her on her own, but money was tight and she had to send her away. Angelica was a very intelligent child and was taken in by one of the priests in the House, being taught Draconic and sacred scriptures. But her martial abilities surpassed even her intellect and the priests soon discovered this. Rather than keeping her on as a novice, she was sent to the island of Dryholm to study and train in Kuyutha's Great Hall and become one of his Paladins. She excelled in her training but stayed at the temple until she reached maturity and claimed her adult name, becoming Angelica in truth.
She traveled north once again, to make her pilgrimage to the House of a Thousand Stars before continuing on to Kuyutha's Hall in Oxpond where she was stationed. On the way from Orlun to Oxpond, she stopped in the town of Loughdor just before it got besieged by the undead army in 4857 AD. She helped defend the city from the assault on the walls and was later present at Lady Dana's banquet to celebrate the Necromancer's defeat. There she met a peculiar group of individuals, who were responsible for defeating the Necromancer, with a young wizard named Melvin especially piquing her interest. She continued on to Oxpond and began working at the local Hall, before running into Melvin and his companions once again, this time helping them find an ancient stone tablet said to be the key to finding the Hammer of Thromneal, and trying to stop the Sect of Task from finding it first.

She is a paladin of Kuyutha, the paladin servant of Bahamut. She has only recently finished her training and is currently stationed in Kuyutha's Hall in Oxpond under the captainship of Tyraelle.

She is quick to laugh and smile, but also quick to anger. Though quite intelligent, she is not very experienced and still youthfully gullible. She likes stories of adventure, which is why she became a paladin, and so has a high opinion of adventurers.
