The Baron of Lothering took the hereditary title of baron 25 years ago after his father, Blake Kent, passed away from old age. He quickly married Anathia de L'Marne, the third daughter of a minor noble house from the capital region. They have two sons together: Athas (22 years old) and Ulfo (18 years old).

He spent his youth working the farm fields with the peasantry, as is the tradition of Lothering. Though he was never particularly skilled at farming, he was diligent and respected by his "employers".
Accomplishments & Achievements
Kent has had quite an average life, having done little of particular note. His most notable achievement was being able to secure a marriage with a daughter of a count in the capital region.
Relationships
History
When Highhill first appeared in Lothering, he appealed to the Baron to allow him to build the lumber mill outside of town. Kent refused on the grounds that the area was too far from the village and was a considerable risk. To Highhills credit, he has been genuine in his interest to help the people, but it isn't incorrect that Corin intends to leave town once the job is done.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
Both wish to see Lothering prosper. Though, Kent believes that Highhill intends to exploit his people with scheme and run off with the initial investment.
History
These two remain close friends. Eagon is loyal to Kent, not only legally, but personally as well. Some see this relationship as one-sided, but these old friends deny it fervently
