Lothering
An old town of new beginnings
A sleeply village to the south of the empire. It lies by the end of the Green River. It is a quiet village far away from major trade routes.
Demographics

Government
The village and surrounding area is led by a baron.
Defences
The local militia sports around 100 personnel. Though, they are more of a roving mob than a proper force when assembled. The town sheriff, Eagon Elm, commands a team of constables and has provisional command of the militia when assembled.
Industry & Trade
Primarily agriculture and subsistence farming. Wheat, root vegetables, and small cattle keep the town surviving but not must else. There is a route through the village, but it is far away from major cities or highways.
However, the potential for logging is high as the area is surrounded with thick woods. A lack of capital investment has prevented any expeditions into this potential resource.
Infrastructure
The village features mostly low rise wooden buildings. There are few buildings over three stories in height, the exception to this being the windmills and the town hall/castle.
Assets
There is an inn called "The Wagon Rut" which has 20 rooms available for one SP a night.
The local blacksmith also makes standard farming equipment but can create simple metal weapons.
Architecture
The city is barely above shantytown. The building are wooden, with even the windmills having only a minimal amount of stone foundation. The exception to this is the Baron's Keep which features a solid stone foundation and reinforcing towers.
Natural Resources
Grains and cereals from farming are the primary natural resource in the village. There are large forests in the area which could provide logging, however, current limitations on industry prevents development.
