Angelans / Aasimar
If the Tiefling is the rejected child who can do no right, Angelans are the child that can do no wrong. Angelans are treated with kindness, forgivness, and nearly reverence across the continent. The spark of the holy shines in their eyes, their touch is warmer and softer than others.
Basic Information
Anatomy
While all Angelans are born to a more common race, after puberty they become nearly indistingushable from human. The most divergent traits they possess are pupilless eyes that softly glow with faint light.
Biological Traits
Angelans possess some innate magical abilities. They are able to produce magical light and can cure themselves and others of disease in limited amounts. They are also resistant to radiant and necrotic damage.
Growth Rate & Stages
When they are first born, Angelans are completely average to their parents species whether they be Halfling, Dwarf, Elf, or Human. It isn't until puberty when their bodies rapidly and dramatically transition into the Angelan form. Whatever racial traits they possessed as youth are then lost and replaced with Aasimar traits.
Ecology and Habitats
Highly functional in most environments and suffer the typical effects of extreme weather as any other average sapient species.

Facial characteristics
Commonly possess glittering metallic-like hair. Gold (Rose, White, etc), silver, platinums, and coppers colours are most prevalent. They are also widely considered beautiful by most sapeints standards.

Most populous in The Radiant Empire and Pax Nevarrum. Though they are still one in 100,000.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
They like many other sapients possess the Darkvision trait and can see in darkness for a limited range. They also are considered to have a slightly stronger innate sense of the world around them.

Historical Figures
Due to the difficulty in distinguishing Angelans from humans, it has been posited in the Radiant Empire that many saints were actually Angelans. Evidence of these claims are mixed and still debated in the halls of College d'Sol.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
While nearly all sapients think highly of Angelans they possess a shocking bitter rivalry with Tiefling. At best, they will throw vicious slurs and mockery at each other but will stubbornly work together. At worst, they will attack each other on sight and often to the death. Thankfully, both species are so exceedingly rare that these meetings are unlikely to happen.
