Tiefling
A strange species which springs up spontaneously in other sapient species. Tieflings can take a myriad of forms and are viewed with fear and suspicion by their neighbours. They are not widely understood due to their rarity and unlikeliness to survive to adulthood.

Genetics and Reproduction
Strangely, this species does not have an easily traceable genetic map. Tieflings are often born to completely average sapients, and children sired from tieflings can be completely average representations of the tiefling's parents. Scholars and researchers have published theories, however, no consensus has yet been achieved.
Growth Rate & Stages
Tiefling children grow at rates that are average to the parent species, though at a slightly accelerated rate, usually achieving sexual maturity and adulthood a couple of years earlier than the parent's species.
Additional Information
Uses, Products & Exploitation
Superstitious country folk will sometimes use tiefling horn as a remedy to cure anything from indigestion, to impotency. Tieflings never have their horns cut willingly, as it is an extremely painful act.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Most commonly found in the Pax Nevarrum, but can appear in any settlement.
Average Intelligence
Often have a dash of wit and cleverness to them.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
All tieflings have the darkvision trait and can see in the dark up to approximately 60 feet, in a monochromatic lens.
Civilization and Culture
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Tieflings speak the language of whatever land they come from. However, they also seem to have an "ancestral" language that is understood universally amongst themselves. This language is never formally learned and is known instinctually by tieflings. The language is difficult to replicate by non-tieflings and is commonly referred to as "infernal" due to parents incorrectly assuming the child is possessed by spirits.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Despite being viewed with fear and suspicion by most sapients at a large scale, tieflings are quite charming and are often able to ingratiate themselves into social circles of any class. There are two exceptions to this.
Aasimar: There appears to be some form of an ancestral feud between the tieflings and the aasimar. Despite having shared experiences, they refuse to cooperate with each other. At best, they will exchange venomous words and at worst, they will attack each other on sight. Even those with pleasant and innocent personalities will feel this grudge.
The Radiant Empire
Tieflings are viewed with severe prejudice in the Radiant Empire—even more so than other minorities. Strangely, most Radians could not tell you why they are treated so poorly. They simply are.
