Tashi the Skald
Overview:
Tashi is a skald originally from Ormen, also known as Banqu in the Duvik tongue, far to the south of Chernaya. He and his family left the South when he was still young, however. Known for his worn travel clothes and the lute slung across his back, Tashi is a seasoned storyteller and musician who has roamed widely, sharing tales and gathering lore. Disowned by his merchant family, Tashi later learned that his family is a major financier of the The Circle of Sendiir, an upstart resistance organization that until recently had little in the way of resources. This revelation has deeply affected him, shaping his current journey to Rostova under the protection of the PCs.
Role:
- Critical Intelligence: Tashi has extensive knowledge, including lore about the Witch-Hunters and their brutal methods. His tales, often laced with critical intelligence, have been of great use to the somewhat less worldly members of the band he travels with. His ability to gather and share these stories makes him a valuable asset, despite his initial ignorance of his family's involvement.
- Musical Talents: Beyond his knowledge and stories, Tashi’s musical talents bring a unique charm to the Circle. His songs and performances are not only entertaining but also serve as subtle means of communication and inspiration among the resistance fighters.
