Silverneedle Town
Silverneedle Town is the bigger of the two tea-producing towns in the Cha Plains. Its denizens are responsible for producing some of the higher-grade teas that Altairus enjoys.
Demographics
The demographics of Silverneedle town are quite varied. However, certain races are more pronounced here than others. Dryads tend to work in the fields, since their affinity for plants makes them ideal to work with the tea trees. Many Nekomata work on the machines used to harvest the tea when it is ready. And of course, Gremlin merchants of all sorts are ready to buy and sell on the global market when the next harvest is fresh.
Industry & Trade
Silverneedle Town is focused almost entirely on the tea trade. This is managed primarily by one company: Hatter Co.. Their presence in the town is actually rather controversial, as they have a near-monopoly on the scene and wield an uncanny amount of political power because of it. There are many both in Cha Town and Silverneedle Town that would love nothing more than to see Hatter Co. go.
Tourism
In addition to controlling the tea industry in Silverneedle Town, Hatter Co. is also responsible for bringing in tourist revenue. They host educational tours of their facilities in both towns, running through the entire process of how the tea is made and the company's role in it
