Mask of the Thespian

A black-and-white mask worn by Certus Amphibole before his death at the hands of the Relay Party. Amphibole created the mask as one of his first projects for his Artificer elective in the academy, imbuing it with enhancing enchantments. Prior to his death, he was almost never seen without it on.   It was later dug up from the ruins of Castle Certiorari by Erik, a shopkeeper in the Bazaar, on his way to Argonia. Erik never made it to Argonia, rather he was distracted by this cool mask that he took back to Elos to add to his shop.   It was purchased by Mooney Suess a few days later, however after learning that the mask is ridiculously cursed, Anemone had elected to hold onto the mask for the time being, before ultimately returning it to Mooney.   When Mooney's crew went to New Argonia, Max Amill attempted to remove the mask. This caused the mask's defensive measures to mount, forcing Mooney to Fireball Max's house down. After Tiefa ripped the mask off her admiral's face, Cardinal leaped into the fray and stole the mask, running off into the forest.   After a battle against Cardinal, she managed to escape with the mask into the forest.   The mask is shielded by numerous protection charms designed to obscure its true purpose. However, it has been gleaned that the mask has something living inside it, and it has the ability to amplify the charisma of the wearer by increasing their self-confidence.
