Tiefa (Tee-fah)
Captain Tiefa
Tiefa's father was once a powerful warlock. He made a deal with an ancient serpent deity for great power, and used this power to attempt to take down the church of Wee Jas. The archpriest of the church, a man named Enel, fought and defeated him multiple times. After several interactions, Enel used a True Polymorph scroll to turn the warlock into a snake, which soon escaped into the ocean and grew to colossal proportions from its warlock powers.
Enel then learned the warlock had a daughter, a Tiefling due to his cursed bloodline. Enel adopted the girl, raising her as his own.
Tiefa was originally born a human, however as her father bargained for more power, one of the deals he struck involved cursing his bloodline with the stain of tieflings. His three year old daughter was then changed to a devilish visage.
Years later, she joined a pirate crew under Captain Danassi, and assisted in capturing his soul in the abyss.
Later, Tiefa found Enel on an island, driven mad by guilt and fear of the warlock-serpent he failed to kill. The crew fought and killed the serpent, after which Enel revealed to Tiefa that the serpent was once her birth father.
