Nubuh

The religion of the Rozan people is one based around the ideas of love and expression, which is directly opposing the Empire's strict rules. While some forms of love are allowed, Nubuh advocates for free love, between whoever wants it, and living a happier life as a community because of it. The religion does not worship a certain deity, rather it worships the very emotion itself. Love is the ultimate goal in life, and it is only through loving openly that one can truly be their best self.   This religion has spread throughout much of the slums of Grenagem City and Rookhaven. This is due to the large populations of Roza Islanders, as well as the minimal government presence. There is no real enforcement done in the slums, so those who practice the religion openly are only apprehended on rare patrols through the slums or if they venture out into the rest of the city.   There are pockets of people who practice this religion in secret among the native Grenegese citizens, mostly men, as they are less watched over, and also lack the privileges of women.

History

The religion developed and was practiced nearly universally on the Roza Islands, and was then brought to the city along with its people. In the slums, the religion mixed with the remnants of the Tantani religion, which had nearly been abandoned, which focused on the energy of the earth, and so now the religion is spread in the area, and is also centered around certain locations they believe to have romantic energy, like La Se LINK.

Execution

While the religion can preach sexual love, the actual practice usually revolves around a group date, whether there were previous romantic ties or not, they believe that just performing romantic acts and being close with others can stoke the romantic fires within and keep the soul strong. These group love sessions are often practiced in a certain location, some so prevalent that the sessions there are never ending, people come and go as they please.
