Desfaza
Manufacturing process
Creating desfaza requires significant knowledge of chemistry and other fields of science, as well as a great deal of attentiveness and precision. As such, most people who can make it are unwilling, either due to the risk of getting caught or a moral objection to intended purpose. This only serves to make it more desired in certain rebellious or hedonistic circles, and in these places its price is extremely high.
Significance
Desfaza is used exclusively by rebels who oppose the empire's use of the Miracle Tincture, and who wish to counteract its effects on themselves. Users of Desfaza generally are also either oblivious to its side effects, are desperate to reverse the miracle tincture, or find its side effects desirable for some reason.
Rarity
Desfaza is only found on the black market, and even then it's increasingly hard to track down. This is due to a decrease both in production of it and in dealers willing to peddle it.

Raw materials & Components
Desfaza contains several chemicals found in various plant roots from La Tantani as well as reverse-engineered elements of the Miracle Tincture (the invention of Desfaza was more a stroke of luck than an intentional tampering with the miracle tincture, as few people know it suppresses sex drive). The result is a powder that is consumed orally, typically with water or another beverage to wash down the unpleasant taste.
Typically, after 1-2 hours (this varies due to a number of factors, such as body weight of the consumer), Desfaza neutralizes all effects of the miracle tincture about 70% of the time, which obviously leaves the consumer more susceptible to Aluma-rot. The rest of the time, the Desfaza either has no effect, or it permanently and significantly increases both sex drive and vulnerability to aluma-rot in its consumer. This outcome, although rare, is essentially a death sentence for alumentum miners and people in many other professions.
