Targan
The best Zorra physician and one of the oldest Zorras to have ever lived. Targan is a member of the Zorra High Council and third only to Silvar and Pargo in influence. He has been Opal's healing mentor since her powers manifested and thinks of her like a surrogate daughter.
He is also one of the few Zorra strong enough to wield a trident. He was once a highly decorated Zorra captain for his bravery and skills. He and has since retired from his soldier duties but is still considered one of the best spearmen in the Domain and respected throughout the Kingdom of Hiland. He encouraged Opal to train with the spear and learn basic self defense and was her private tutor without Doraphen's knowledge. He often gives her pointers on her technique.

History
Targan is a family friend to Opal and grew to care for her after her mother died. She grew to love him like a second father just as he saw her as a surrogate daughter. He was one of the few that knew the true identity of Queen Rovo as he was the one who helped Rovo give birth. Targan was one of the Zorra present when Opal firsst manifested her healing power and was tasked with teaching Opal how to control and use her power to help others. He also doubled as her combat tutor aginst Doraphen's wishes, teaching Opal to fight with a trident as well as basic hand to hand combat in order to protect herself.
