- Populated mostly by Humans, Dwarves and Orcs in tribal communities.
- United to fight against Saiko during the early Second Age, but ultimately were defeated and conquered.
- There is still some dislike of Saiko, but they appreciate to progressions of their lands brought by them.
- Clan leaders meet but there is no truly recognised ruler of Bastov
- While there is infighting of clans and tribes they normally stop in fear of Saiko's attention upon them.
- Dwarven and Orcish contend for the main langauge of Bastov, but both Allurian and Saihongo are well known.
- Lore states their own Pantheon was killed long ago by an Allurian god, before the Saikon pantheon took over. Much worship now goes to Nekrosei and Verana, followed by Makahilu due to their island nature, and Barrala from their focus on honour and not backing down.
- There is also a large amount of worship given to a Wakan by the name of Morkruh, considered to be a local personification of the lands.
