Lavos

Once a strong milliary power with dreams of conquest, now a peaceful nation. After the Flame war, they succeced in driving off Kel Oth, but as a people where shocked by the violence of Kel Oth and feared that they too would be courpted and driven to such means. The arance devsation of the land also shocked the people so as such arcane magic is limited in its use, and the Spell Fire Waste is a forbidden place. So the king at the time Kelon Hagos Zelson swore to Selulon that his people would turn away from the conquests of the past, and instead delovet themselves to the life of the farmer ,builder, and craftfolk. This change of heart has not weakened the nation as they did not turn away from the sword, only tempered its use to only when necessary.
Most of the food of Lavan comes from the farming of the flood lands of the Lavu River. From quarries the stone is cut that builds the great building of Lavos. Lavos is most famed for its great roost towers that act as both civil centers and as message stations for messages to be carried on the wings of Sun Elves. This message system allows for close administration by capital.
Arcane magic is by law limited for unlicensed people to use, and the teaching of arcane magic is limited to licensed mages after pasting rigorous arcane and ethical tests. Simple magic, such as light, mage hand and other harmless magic is not shunned.

Military

Lavos has a small standing army supplemented with bands of chelfen mercenaries if needed.

Religion

Worship of Selulon takes present over any other god, as she is the sorcess of plants and the calm floods of the Lavu River. Toterence of other worship, as long as it is not in service to evil gods, protected by law.

Lavos exports gold, grain, linen, papyrus, and derlays. The gold and papyrus are mainly exportived aross the Stormbrew Sea to the ports of Rehai for tin, copper, and silver. The trade ships layedned with grain, linen and derlays are sent to the chelfen ports on the Strait of Giants, mainly Rantop.
