Spell Fire Waste
The Spell Fire Waste are the ruins of the Flame war, burned by hell fire and forbidden arcane magics. The land, once as ferrital as the lush Laven river valley, now lies devastated without any natural flora or fauna. All life found in the waste is twisted by the wild magic that still plagues the land. While the Chelfen people would like to believe that it was Kel Oth's fault for the arcane desertification and Kel Oth blames the Chell in turn, Laven people know the truth. The destruction was a three way effort from all sides. However the wastes now serve as a mortal made barrier between Laven and Kel Oth, keeping the two at a consent state of not all out war.
In four small towns, Hobgoblins and their like, farm the land for the valuable silver root, and Grompeg wood. These four coastal towns are the only form of civilization in the waste. Given how hash the land, these four towns of self governed.
