The Vallum Walls
The vallum walls is a wall that protects the western pass through the Shield Peaks from Kel Oth. Guarded by volunteers and exiles from Lavos, The Vallum has a culter very separate from the rest of the nation. While the communal living is still the norm, the communal spaces have no areas for rasing childern becasue the Vallum is only for people who agreed to take up arms, not to force this way of life on anyone. So the children and parents are taken back in to Lavos proper.
