For being what most people think of when thinking of the clergy of the Church, Life Domain is one of the smaller branches in terms of holy orders. In the body of the Church, Order Domain and Light Domain serve as the bulk of the clerical population. The political and theological pursuits often outweigh the healing arts of the faith. Life Domain clerics are often relegated to smaller churches and temples to serve their communities. That said, holy orders of the Life Domain, such as the Mericine Order, are some of the more influential orders outside the Church. These, more than most, are viewed as the clergy that serves the people in the streets. They establish hospitals and healing shrines, working with the sick and dying daily. Where the knights of the holy orders in the War Domain might gain glory in the courts of kingdoms, the healers of the Life Domain are the heroes of the commonfolk.
