Rubico River

The Cobble Wobble River is one of the many small rivers that orginate from Lake Roic, in the Heartlands, on the major continent of Ethae. Known as the Rubico River in the ancient past, the Cobble Wobble has traditionally stood as the far northern most line of the land holdings for city of Lakorth. Though relatively wide, the river is shallow throughout its length and can easily be forded in most locations. A key river in the Heartland's northern farmlands, the Cobble Wobble, though natural acts more as a canal than a natural river.

With no central government in Novyum in the modern day, the baronial lands and farming villages, along the river. have established regulations amongst themselves on water control. The regional lords annually gather at the Cobble Wobble Inn in early spring to evaluate seasonal water levels and discuss irrigation needs along the river. Tension has grown over the last several years with the eastern lords pushing to have more authority their water use. This has pushed the western lords into a more aggressive stance, as they feel more marginalized do to being farther downstream from the water's source.
