Cobble Wobble Inn
Midway Tavern
Cobble Wobble Inn, often referred to as Midway Tavern in Lakorth and Coxcomb, is a rest stop on Novyum Road. It stands nearly the Cobble Wobble River, roughly three days south of Coxcomb and six days north of Lakorth. In spite of its fame across Coblyn, most first-time visitors are surprised at how small the inn really is. The Cobble Wobble is a two-story building with a tavern and kitchen on the first floor and an open space on the second full of beds that can be rented for the night. A nearby barn serves to house horses and has additional space in its upper levels for cheaper beds. Most staff live offsite in nearby villages, commuting in for work each day, but there are rooms in the massive cellar for overnight staffers. The tavern is famous for its local breads and beer, made nearby and bright in each day.
Its popularity among merchant caravans is high due to the fact that the Cobble Wobble allows any travelers to camp on the land around the inn if a meal is purchased. This saves considerable coin for a relatively safe campsite and hot meal. During the spring and summer months, when trade is at its highest, the Cobble Wobble will be surrounded by a literal tent town of merchants coming and going throughout the season. Trade deals are often made at the site between these merchants. During these months of trade, the inn makes enough coin to high local militia to keep the peace.
