Luna (LOO-nah)
Luna is the goddess of the moon in the Outer Gyrlands, and presides over the concepts of nighttime, moonlight, intrigue, and dreaming. She is a strongly good-aligned deity, and her soft light is a beacon in the darkness to all her worshipers across Aetregyr. Known as the Moon Princess or the Night Twin, she is the opposite side of her twin sister Sola, with whom she has a loving but occasionally competitive relationship. She is the daughter of Slauthé, goddess of the Sky, and she is a coy but loving daughter, though she is generally more mysterious and secretive than her mother.
Luna is one of the oldest deities in Aetregyr, as she was present for the Dawn of Life. While not one of the Prime Four Creation Gods, she is only rivaled in power by a handful of other deities. All surface folk, whether acolytes of the Coy Sister or not feel her presence during the night. Dwellers of the Underdark offer her a modicum of respect, as they find her soft luminescence more tolerable than the blinding radiance of her sister.
Luna's clerics pray for their spells at midnight. They stand tall, arms raised toward the moon in a show of tender worship. Clerics and followers of Luna are often champions for the ideals of good, cunning tricksters who playfully torment the wicked, and offer the cover of darkness to those who wish to move about unseen. The faithful of Luna are relentless adversaries of lycanthropy and evil were-creatures. Luna's moonlight is an anathema to the followers of deities of wanton brutality, including Sl'grast, Alauthé, and Aargrad.
Luna is considered a whimsical and capricious goddess, and is revered by a considerable number of good-aligned shapechangers. Druids who worship Luna often use their wildshape to hunt evil, and to solve mysteries of the night. Lunean Druids are often even more secretive than most enclaves, leading efforts to protect forest and wilderness habitats from a place of stealth. Such druids are given the same regard and status as priests, although they are not obligated to the Church hierarchy.
Luna's Temples are usually places of beauty, decorated in of dark hues and and silver, with a central glass dome above an atrium, design to let in as much moonlight as possible at night. Most Lunean Temples are active at night, with only a small skeleton crew active during the daytime. The smallest of villages will often have a dedicated shrine to the Moon Princess, if for no other reason than to track the phases of Luna to better track the passage of the planting and harvest seasons. Most Churches of Luna endeavor to work behind the scenes, eschewing the flamboyant and obvious methods of her sister's church.

The Night Twin's Devotee
Piety 3+ Luna trait
As a devotee of Luna, you have proven yourself a potential champion of the Night Twin. You have attracted the notice of a local Temple of Luna, and they have given you a radiant tattoo that grants you magical abilities. For example, you can call on Luna’s favor and cast heroism with this trait, requiring no material components. Luna’s blessing manifests as temporary matching tattoos that appear on the skin of the affected creatures, which shed dim light in a 5-foot radius until the spell ends. You can cast the spell in this way a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
The Moon Princess' Acolyte
Piety 10+ Luna trait
Your tattoos expand and grow, and your skin now has a soft, dim silver glow. You can choose to amplify this celestial glow at any time as a bonus action, becoming a source of bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet.
You can cast moonbeam with this trait. Once you cast the spell in this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
Celestial Dusk's Disciple
Piety 25+ Luna trait
Your tattoos now include a wing design on your back, allowing you to grow a pair of spectral wings made of gossamer threads of moonlight as a bonus action, a number of times per day equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You gain a fly speed of 30-feet for ten minutes.
In addition, while you are manifesting the wings, you have resistance to radiant damage, and your melee attacks deal an extra 2d6 Radiant damage on a hit.
In addition, immediately after you take damage from a creature you can see within 60 feet of yourself, you can take a Reaction to force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature has the blinded condition until the end of your next turn.
The Coy Sister's Champion
