House Varal
The estate of House Varal is a sprawling manor of elegant stonework and arched windows, topped with steep slate roofs and crowned by a slender tower — the family spire — that watches silently over the grounds. Flags of Verisara hang beside the Varal crest: a silver sunburst over indigo field, catching the flicker of torchlight as the wind rustles them gently.
The 150-foot path from the iron gate to the manor’s great double doors is paved in pale riverstone and flanked by meticulously sculpted hedges, flowerbeds blooming with late-autumn color, and a central fountain where water dances softly in the fading light. House guards, clad in dark indigo livery with subtle steel accents, stand vigilant at intervals, their expressions cool but not unfriendly.
Beyond the great entrance, the soft murmur of noble conversation, clinking glasses, and distant music hints at the celebration already in motion. As guests arrive, they are greeted not in the garden, but ushered directly into the opulent banquet hall, where chandeliers gleam overhead and the festivities await.
