SPECIAL ABILITIES
Chemical Dependency (Ex) An abandoned must eat brains to maintain its mental and physical health. Luckily for those living in the proximity of an abandoned they prefer their brains aged to perfection, 2d12 days old is ideal. An abandoned is much more likely to scavenge brain matter than create its own stockpile. For additional information on the chemical dependency deformity, see CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY .
Cyber Rejection (Ex) Due to a virulent genetic mutation an abandoned gains no benefit from cybernetic, bionic, or nanotech augmentations. Creatures injured by an abandoned are exposed to the cybernetic rejection virus., see CYBERNETIC REJECTION VIRUS .
Infrasonic Moan (Ex) An abandoned can emit an infrasonic moan as a standard action. Anyone within a 60-foot radius must make a Will save (DC 18) or gain the shaken condition for 1d4 rounds. Anyone failing by their Will save by 5 or more gains the panicked condition for 1d2 rounds followed by the shaken condition for 1d4 rounds. A creature that successfully saves against infrasonic moan cannot be affected by that same moan effect for 24 hours.
Quadruped (Ex) The abandoned gains 10 ft. of extra movement when running on all fours. It cannot hold anything while taking advantage of this movement.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Environment mausoleums, ruins, sewers
Organization solitary
The abandoned are not actually necroborg. During their brutal transformation, a dormant mutation is activated causing them to reject the necroplast. Without dependency to necroplast they cannot be controlled by the Cult of the Great Old Ones. With the danger the cybernetic rejection virus potentially presents to the necroborg it a mystery why the abandoned are not immediately destroyed. Rather than putting them down the cult releases the abandoned into the labyrinths of the undercities. Despite their appearance and their undead nature abandoned are not the blood thirty savages one would expect them to be. Anyone with a fermented brain on hand might find them amiable to negotiation.
