Duergar
During The Sundering some Dwarves dug deep into the mountain, hoping to reach security and recede from the problems that plagued those who dwelled upon the land, breaching through into the underdark. whether they came across this hostile and alien place within the very bones of the Material Plane or were drawn here by dark influences it is unknown; but swiftly after entering this place they fell into a terrible and excessively brutal way of life. culling the weak and enslaving all but the strongest to work in their hellish forges.
