The point where the Giants made a deal with the Venari to turn the Venari into the warforged.

The Venari once were a powerful race of humans. They created a vast empire lasting a thousand years. They took slaves from every race, built great metropolises, and had an army capable of challenging the Draconic Inquisition. This empire stood in absolute power over Faecrosti. However, due to some event historians are unable to understand, the Venari empire was nearly wiped out. The Venari themselves became severely weak. Their last cities were disease-ridden cesspits and their leaders could not protect them. Naturally, the Venari wanted to reclaim their former glory, and even surge past it. Their solution: immortality. During the giant crusades, the Venari made a pact with the giants unaware of the consequences. The giants created ageless bodies for the Venari, magical machines capable of holding the consciousnesses of every Venari. However, after the Venari were transformed into the machines and became the first warforged, the Giants took them as a slave race.
