Warforged

Once a human civilization known as the Venari, the warforged struck a deal known as the warforge pact with the giants. The giants took the new warforged as a slave race and as soldiers until they inevitably rebelled. The warforged and Dragonborn failed themselves and helped take down their respective masters. Warforged are a rare sight now, most of which are ancient from the 2nd Age or were created by the survivors. Ancient warforged are the only beings that possess the knowledge to create true warforged, but the Cult Mechanicus certainly tries.

Naming Traditions

Warforged use the same naming form as dragonborn, and their names are often either giantish or a hybrid of draconic and giantish naming depending on how close the warforged is to Paarthurnax, their native country. Giantish: Borghildr, Brynnhildr, Freya, Gandalf, Grimhildr, Kara, Loki, Njjord, Odin, Thrym

Hybrid: Baldardad, Bridrekr, Ghedrush, Heivilir, Idrunn, Jezearn (Yezeern), Kadara, Mozigth, Pijjirik, Sethurdr

History

The warforged were created by the warforge pact and became a slave race. After rebelling against their giant masters, they allied with the dragonborn and forged their own civilization. This civilization has lasted even to the present day but has been pushed into smaller and smaller territory by other powers.
