Assets
The Church has access to thousands of Zealots and has allies in the government, giving it small military might; however, its high-ranking divine spellcasters are one-man siege engines if they would ever engage in war. The church also has access to millions of gold pieces and thousands of magic items. Every settlement of population 5,000 or higher has at least one temple to a specific god or a church for the general religion. There are Several full-on fortresses in some particularly holy areas that function as the highest church to a particular god.
History
This religion was first created by Cjekogos, the first prophet, who is said to have seen the gods themselves on Mount Celestia who told them of themselves and he spread this knowledge. After the Confederacy of Emperors was founded, this religion was adopted by the government as the official religion of the nation. After the first war of Haercendos was ended by an Archcjeck invoking an avatar of Jaimus, Gorgon god of the Earth, the church has become immensely popular and politically powerful. After the Cult of Orcus discreetly revealed the secrets of the Church in the last 3 years, the church has taken a major hit in popularity and cult membership has soared.
