Ragna Tharmr
Once a nameless face in her son's history, Ragna now unknowingly has a chance to help rewrite her child's fate. In what direction her guidance will take him, though, is still to be seen.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
While in reasonably decent health, Ragna suffers from a lame leg due to an injury she received during the flight from the Outer Continent. Despite this, she is an active young woman who does all she is able to help her community, heavy limp be damned.
Body Features
With a slight figure and small chest, Ragna physically is not one who stands out from a crowd, aside from her limp.
Facial Features
Ragna is a classic beauty, with reddened cupids-bow lips, high cheekbones, and thin eyebrows above a straight nose that has never been broken before. While she often looks around her the same as her son, with a calmness that never seems to waver, her dark blue eyes have a warmth to them that invites others to approach.
Physical quirks
She has some bad scarring on her left leg that has caused her permanent limp, hidden by her skirts, robes, and leggings. When moving slowly, her limp is less noticeable, leading to her having a very slow, yet determined, gait.
Apparel & Accessories
When not serving as a priestess, Ragna prefers simple clothes that do not obstruct her limited ability to get around: loose skirts, modest blouses, and simple shoes, with thick leggings and shawls for the winter.
Specialized Equipment
Ragna's robes as a priestess of the Circle of Malius are plain cotton, dyed white, with blue laces and trimming to signify her high rank in their order.
Once she becomes the High Priestess of the Mythos Sect, her robes remain similar, but now include a ceremonial shawl around her shoulders with the symbol Mythos had on his armor stitched onto it, and the color of the laces, trim, and shawl are now a similar shade of red.

Personal history
Born on the Outer Continent, Ragna has been a member of the Circle of Malius faith since she was a young girl, and an acolyte since the age of 16, when illness took her parents from her. She married her husband when she was 18, and gave birth to her son, Barnabas, two years later. Unfortunately, only four years after the birth of her son, she would be forced to leave her husband and home behind due to religious persecution, making a forced pilgrimage to the Twins with the other survivors of her village - and her as one of the only remaining priestesses of their sect.
After settling down in Karlsfell, things seemed to be getting better. They had to hide their faith when outside the village, and were wary of outsiders due to the initial reception they had on the continent, but otherwise the community was recovering better than Ragna ever expected it to after being forced to flee their homes. What's more, she got to watch her precious son grow up into one of the best warriors of the village, despite his tender age of 14, and help to ensure he is ready to take over the position of chieftain when the time came.
Except then, their village is attacked once more, soldiers disguised as bandits there to "clear the savages off of precious viable land". And in the very moment when, in another timeline, she was destined to die...
...she was saved from that fate, and given a chance to save her son's fate as well.
Gender Identity
Ragna is rather traditional in how she views and understands gender, however she does keep an open mind regarding others views.
Sexuality
While straight, Ragna has no troubles with those who have different desires in regards to bed partners. She tends to view this as not something she should have a say in, since it has nothing to do with her.
Education
Much of Ragna's education came from the various priests within the Circle of Malius as she rose through their ranks.
Employment
Ragna is a long-time priestess of the Circle of Malius, having worked her way up from acolyte to a high-tier priestess. Upon the founding of Waloed, and the creation of the Mythos Sect of the Circle, she ascends to the rank of High Priestess, leading the followers of the faith within the nation.
Mental Trauma
She lost her husband and home to raiders, and fears that the same could happen at any time, especially with how skilled her son is in battle.
Intellectual Characteristics
Ragna is incredibly intelligent, though much of this is emotional intelligence in understanding how people function and operate. While as quick-thinking as her son, she directs this towards her work as a priestess, and thus in how to best help those she leads.
Morality & Philosophy
Morality
TBA
Philosophy
Ragna believes that everyone deserves to find and follow their own path in every aspect of their life and faith. While seemingly counter-intuitive to the beliefs of her religion, she would argue that no mortal truly knows the Almighty's will, and so in finding your own path, you will find your own way into Their arms and promised Paradise.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
She merely wishes to guide others on their paths, no matter where those paths may lead.
Virtues & Personality perks
Kind hearted
Considerate
Emotionally intelligent
Cunning
Vices & Personality flaws
Willing to overlook the flaws in others

Willing to do anything for her God
Hygiene
Due to the emphasis on purity of the Circle of Malius, Ragna maintains a regular bathing schedule, and instilled the same habits into her son.
Social
Contacts & Relations
Ragna is rather close with her fellow priests within Karlsfell's Circle of Malius, who become the core members of the Mythos Sect after the attempted raid and founding of Waloed.
Family Ties
After her husband stayed behind on the Outer Continent to ensure their people's safe flight, and her parents having died years before that, Ragna's only familial tie is to her son, Barnabas.
Religious Views
As a priestess of the Circle of Malius, Ragna is a very religious individual, and raised her son to be the same. She doesn't mind that Barnabas often questions their religion, and often encourages this. She believes that only by questioning the doctrine can one find their own path in faith and understanding in doctrine.
Social Aptitude
She is a highly charismatic individual, capable of drawing attention just by walking into a room. Her words carry weight, her demeanor showcases a quiet confidence, and her interactions with others makes them feel like they can tell her anything and not be judged.
Speech
Ragna speaks in an eloquent manner, with a heavy Nordic accent, though in-universe it is referred to as Southern Seas Continental. Her voice is smooth, with a rich cadence that soothes those that hear her speak.
She is personable without being informal, and has a higher vocabulary than one would expect from someone raised in such a rural setting, but makes sense given her position within the Circle of Malius. She refrains from using curse words, or blaspheming at her deity, though she turns a blind eye when others - save her son - do so.
Wealth & Financial state
Ragna is not from a very wealthy village, having lost much of her belongings when she fled the Outer Continent with Barnabas. While slightly better off, thanks to her position as a priestess in the Circle of Malius, this is only shown in how well-cared-for her clothing often is, especially her robes.
After becoming High Priestess, and Queen Mother due to her son's actions, her social status changes drastically, though she still prefers to not showcase this due to how young Waloed and the Mythos Sect still are.
"May the Almighty guide your path, no matter your faith in Them."
"Who are we to assume knowledge of the Almighty's Will and plans?"
