Morgaine Morgana
Morgaine Morgana was a Glendatis Queen and the Matriarch of the Morgana Dynasty. She is the grandmother of Sheena's priests Madrun and Iago, as well as many other important figures in the Western coasts and islands.
Her legal spouse was Manaw, with whom she had nine children. She was also close with A****** A******* and Coil Hen, with whom she revolutionized quartz timekeeping and citron batteries. Her family were heavily involved in the legendary "Trades Beyond", a period of time in which it was conjectured they could reach beyond the fog by traveling directly south along the Western coast of the Islands. Many of her descendants are in high ranking positions within Brine guilds.
Morgaine, as a Matriarch, is bound to the Laws of Annouven to have nine children (for good luck and tradition). Nine-wed Annouven women will die after their 10th childbirth and otherwise can live for up to 240-250 years. Their heir must also have nine children. When all nine children of the current monarch are dead or heir-less, they are sacrificed to the ocean or lake and the remaining family are adopted into the current reigning family, where their assets are sorted by varying laws and integrated. Sometimes it can be advantageous for this to happen, especially for ambitious members of a dying family life.

Brief History:
He chose to marry a foreign woman, Dull Caren, which nullified his claim towards the Nine-wed Throne. However, upon gaining control of land and trade in the Morvoren Islands, he was an asset to his family nonetheless and allowed the Morgana family to incorporate Morvoren as a territory alongside West Kargast. He is often seen as a folk hero, and specialized in maritime creatures.

Guenivach Morgana (tenth children)

Twin sister of Guenivar. She, Guenivar, and Tegid were fostered by Morgaine's brother Matuno. Tegid had an easy time, but Guenivach and Guenivar ended up in exploitative marriages. Guenivach eventually merges with a tidal pool where she spits out monsters at her descendants, looking for a better husband. Sometimes Maydens are born from it.

Brief History: Penarthun is part of a council of Magistra Lodgii and Magistra Elementorum who run Brine guilds centred around caustic bases. She is considered the golden child of the nine Morgana siblings. She is charismatic to her allies and ruthless to her enemies, has little shame but can also act with restrained poise. An ideal leader who could reap what she sows.
