Lord Protector Melchior Angevin
Lord Protector of Sempervirentis Melchior Lorimer Angevin, Lord Regent
Charismatic yet often considered ruthless, Melchior Angevin of the Noble Family of Angevin is the current Lord Protector of Sempervirentis and the representative for the city in the Curtana Accords. Having taken power in Sempervirentis after the death of the previous Lord Protector toward the end of the War of Countless Faces, Angevin has since legitimately held his position for the last ten years, despite holding some controversial opinions and regularly butting heads with powerful individuals across Curtana.
Angevin is also the Lord Regent of the Angevin Noble Family in place of his Father, Hesperos Angevin, who while mentally capable, is physically impaired by a degenerative condition. While Hesperos remains the primary decision-maker, it is Melchior who enacts his Father's wishes and performs his physical duties.
