Delving Deeper into the Institiute

As we begin Gok has lost his magic, his casting focus, his armor. He is now riding on the back of the camel man.
 
After pressing on we found a strange magical/wild magic portal thing. We decided not to go through it, and then entered a room filled with 6 legged spider like creatures. Gok gets downed during the fight but manages to get back up.
 
In the room we found reserch papers, lockers and rock on a chain.
 
We had to cross over a portal using a contraption of ropes. While seperated by a pit we were attacked by fire creatures.
 
Found an object with MMD. It is an old motto "machines make desteny" There is an activation phrase/word. Need attunment. "Stab yourself with the disk and bind the demond"
 
Dimsum fond the elemental essence but it appears to be guarded by mommies. Gok is very injured after being without magic.

After the battle Dimsum was unable to cast the marble into the pit. Aleric cast hold person on him. Pen throws the marble into the pit, picks up Dimsun and runs.
 
I cast shatter and destroyed the marble triggering the explosion. Me and Ful jumped on Alcar and I hasted him so he's running at 18mph. As we dashed past the guard at the entrance he knew we ran past, he picked up a gun then the building collapsed.
 
There was a confruntation with Alcar as he tried to hand on to some elemental essance for the cammel cult. Fortunitly we talked him down.
 
We got the necromancer and teleported to Alerics base to rest. During the rest I attuned to the MMR Device and it repeated the message. Gok—listen! No time. It’s me—you. Everything’s breaking.
