Aftermath of the castle assult

We looted the vault and "boss room" we found a small Portune of nearly 48k of gold. This accounted for 9566 each. We found an amazing weapons the Gilded Dragon, a firearm with an underbarrled laucher.
 
While Pen and Alkar loot the rest of the group returns to the surface to see the damage to the castle.
 
On returning to the surface the outer wall of the castle was collapsed. Enemy soldiers were flooding through the gap in the walls. Several of us with range stayed on the roof shooting. It was however too dark to see well leaving us with no option but to climb down. After firing Gok decided to climb down from the room and manged to spectacularly fall flat on his face from the roof the keep. (because he used athletics instead of acrobatics)
 
After a volley of grenades the resistance was mostly ended. We lost half of the PFI (poor fucking infantry). There were renforcements on the horizon however they fell back allowing us to get everyone into the ship and escape.
 
While on the ship on the way back Holadie messaged Pen to tell us to meet with him.
 
After we returned to base we heardMedecnins forces had taken the Tree House from the rebals but may have signed a truce with the peastants/rebals/red suprecity, our forces are heading North.
 
After resting and leveling up, we flew to meet Heladie in a ruined village. He believes the "the rot is spreading in Dimsum". He promised us an explination.
 
He explained:
