I’m officially on my way to Novandria! Leaving Gran and home was harder than I thought it would be. I’m so excited to be starting this part of my life, but I’m going to miss Gran and the familiarity of home very much. I’ve never traveled this far by myself before. I know I’m capable, but it’s a little scary. I just have to remember that I’m following in Gran’s footsteps and I can’t go wrong as long as I keep her example in mind. I promised her that I would make her proud, and I’m going to make sure to keep that promise no matter what.
I’m sitting next to the window in my seat on the hydrorail, watching the countryside go by. It’s all so new and beautiful! We arrive in Novandria tomorrow morning, and I’ll be going straight to meet Gran’s friend that I’ll be lodging with. Maybe once I’m settled in, I can do a little exploring and see what’s about. I should go to the dining car and get something to eat now, so that I can get plenty of sleep tonight. Tomorrow is going to be a long, exciting day!
