Huack's Journal in Ishbahlok pt 2

by Huack

Second day with this lot and things get better and better.

And by better I appear to be linked to these people in the same manner I was to my prior party. When the idiot lizard decided to nearly kill herself, we all felt it; including me, despite my amulet nullifying my dependencies on people. A couple more cracks appeared and I won't lie, it's mild- extremely distressing. If this amulet breaks, I'm at the mercy of this world, the fates of these people, and I need to hurry up and find that damned page for Fildor.

So we go out to find the lizard. She's unconscious in a snowdrift, probably not breathing, on account of the excruciating pain her stupidity has subjected us to. There's also some tabaxi that looks like a snowball who has the same kind of rage that drug abusers are quite fond of. I mocked his aggression and he slashed my face up pretty badly, which ricocheted back and caused everyone *more* agony.

I hate these people and I am stuck with them.

Anyways, we bring the lizard back to life and the White Dragon returns on patrol. I tried to get everyone to return to the inn! The rage cat wanted to *punch. The. Dragon.* I'd be more than contented to leave him to his more than deserved fate, but I fear the backlash would literally kill me. The dumb lizard is actually on my side for a change and tries to seduce the rage tabaxi and it works, only the kobald wasn't fond of it and nearly breaks the lizard's neck.

I am so tired of these suicidal fools and I only just met them. I'm barely going to talk about how rage tabaxi tried to leave the tavern and got nearly killed by the White Dragon's frost breath. He's alive, somehow. We're trapped in the inn, for now.

In good news the kobald, I think her name is Drong, actually appears to be a kind sort. I don't mind her. She gave everyone hot chocolate, including me. She's made an effort to be accepting, along with the elf. Maybe they'll be my lifeline to sanity and getting out of the place if I'm to be stuck in their company as long as I'm exiled to this world.

In much brighter news, Dimia and I spoke again and I was able to tell her about the amulet I won in the stone throwing contest and how I think it works. She's agreed to get me updated maps to test this.

Honestly, I think I'd have been lost forever in this place after the death of my party if it wasn't for her.
