Considering recent events the trip down has been as of yet unnaventful, something I can only hope lasts longer than a day or two. Whilst taking the detor for the map may extend our journeys time it will be a verifyer for how this item works and what to expect from it, I'm glad the group agreed to go check it out even if it turns out to be nothing of import.

The day has gone by quietly, we are about half a days distance from the map marker which from current looks appears to be on some sort of hill, we'll camp up and head there in the early morning, hopefuly we should reach it by midday.

Last night was interesting to put it lightly we agreed on 3 watches for the night and I was with Ciri on the first, it was quiet at first but then Ciri got my attention informing me that she could smell what she thought was blood
