Session #3- The Funeral

We are arriving in town to go see the Alchemist! We arrive to town at about Noon! We split the money between everyone but the plant dude!
 
The Alchemist left with some hunters to go see some strange animals! (Strange beasts)
The Mayor says "Why would I be a cultist" he is trying to bridge the gap between the high elves and the wood elves.
I asked the mayor how far back the reports go about the strange beasts! - The oldest reports go back about a month but they are stranger and more severe in the past week.
 
The funeral is just after sunset southeast of town by about 10 minutes!
 
There is a young-looking woman in the armoury building when we walk in. It is the blacksmith shop, she is the blacksmith! The hunters left a couple of hours ago and probably went south! There is currently about 5 or 6 hunters! She seemed nice and smart, her father died and she has taken over the business. She totally just destroyed Elflock Drools with her logic and speaking, it was hilarious. She then wouldn't sell Him anything because he lied to her.
 
We then went into the chapel and talked to the priest. The priest has served the 4 gods his whole life and he was agitated about being accused of being a cultist. When asked about mithos being a cultist he said that makes sense and was wondering how much they truly could have gotten up to if he was a part of it.
The priest is going to relay the information that there is probably someone higher up in the food chain of the cult out there still.
I asked about any other suspicious characters in town. The priest then said that Kalem Malith is definitely somewhat suspicious.

We then go into the general store! There is a woman behind the counter, there are pots and pans and books and stuff like that. The most interesting thing in the shop is the staff that is on the wall behind her! The staff is the staff of divine providence. It costs about 200 GP's, it was the priest's friend's staff who died a while ago. She does not have much of an impression of mithos but he seemed rather shy. They rarely interacted and she did not know him well enough to suspect him of anything.
 
The funeral was going smoothly and all of a sudden wolves surrounded the area and we got into a tussle with them. There was a big wolf! There were at least 6 small wolves, Me and one of the guards dealt with 2 of them up top and now I have headed to go help deal with the big wolf!
