Identifying Characteristics

Scars:

• The most notable is her 'burn' scar that engulfs her whole right hand and arm, reaching over her shoulder, neck, and onto the right side of her face.


• Cut scar across the middle of her nose form her work as a theif.


• Cut scar on the left side of her upper lip from a brawl as a teenager.


• Several smaller scars on her left hand from fiddling with knives and daggers.

Physical quirks

She's somewhat been forced to become apedextris due to her scarred right hand being somewhat painful to use in certain situations.
 
If she can she will often keep her scar uncovered as any friction on it can be irritating or painful. If she wears anything on that arm/shoulder she often wraps it in linen strips. She however, hates how hot it can be and even more so, when her arm feels as if its rotting under the linen. It never is, and she's sure its just a trick of her mind. But in the moment of that feeling she often panics and goes to rip the linen off as soon as she can.

Apparel & Accessories

Irene is practical in how she dresses. As a child and teenager she favored the more intricate and beautiful leathers, cloaks, etc. But now she finds such things to be too much for her, given how scarred she is. Her thought is that something so fine would look out of place on a body so maimed.
This often has her in simple black linen clothes (or cotton/wool when its cold), unadorned leather armour, and moccasin soled shoes (to keep her steps as quiet as possible).

Special abilities

Irene seems to be becoming a beacon for the deceased. The more time has passed from her solo work the more strange things seem to be occuring. Her nightmares have gotten more vivid, nightterrors worse. Help seeming to come from nowhere, yet at her whim... It frightens her some... but... grin and bear it.

Taught how to read, write, and speak different languages from those within the Thieves' Guild willing to teach her. A safe house, fronted as a bar, in Verkel was where she and Lyra had learned the most. All from the caretaker/owner.

Motivation

Her greatest desire is to go back to doing jobs/advetures with her sister.

Wonderfully charismatic people person... but horrible moral compass.
Nobody can pin down what is right and wrong to Irene. She seems to simply never be outraged since she's been back, and while claiming to want to do good continues to do some pretty illegal, not-so victimless crimes.

Horribly avoidant.
Does not want to address any of her issues with trauma or even others who pour their heart out to her.
She has no clue how to help or react to such things and thus become avoidant or quiet when presented with those topics.
