Arinyarin's parents were mistress and apprentice wizards who happened to be wood elves. Shunned by their fellows, they formed a bond that was more than that of mistress and apprentice. They had a child together, but the child had horns. Claiming that the child was the result of an unholy union, the other wood elves tried to kill the wizards and their baby. Forced to flee their homeland, they traveled across the world, but were unable to find a place to settle. In the end, they turned to The Betrayer, who welcomed the accomplished wizards into their fold.
